Victorian era globular little sterling silver pillbox with a hinged lid. Rare, c. 1880-1900. Left completely untouched with its intense original oxidation, blackening the recessed valleys to make the crisp repoussé details pop against the dark metal. The deep black oxidation is completely natural and has taken generations to form. (Do not polish it!!)
